An as-produced script is an exact reflection of the final program as it will be broadcast. It includes act breaks, scene breakdowns and descriptions, continuity as required, plus word-accurate dialogue and IDs. We can also construct an as-pro with timecodes denoting the scenes.

Requirements

• We require a DVD or VHS dub of the program as it will be aired. It doesn't need a timecode burn or timecode on channel 2, but it's fine if they're there. The exception to this would be a timed as-pro which does need a timecode burn. However, if you're sending a dub that also requires captioning, both a timecode burn or timecode on channel 2 are necessary.

• Note: if we are also captioning your program, we only need one copy of the DVD or VHS dub.

• The DVD or dub should have a locked picture and final audio. If you plan to send an initial dub, it is crucial that we know what will be changing and where. We hate to charge you for doing unnecessary work.

• We also need an electronic copy of the shooting script in any of the following formats, listed in the order prefered:
• Final Draft .(fdr)
• .rtf, .doc, .wps, .txt, .asc
• .pdf

If it's absolutely impossible to provide a digital file, we'll take a hard copy of the script. If you have a script in another format, please contact the office to see if it's compatible with our software.

• Note: we prefer to receive the electronic copy of your script in advance of the scripting date (this helps us to prepare so we can start your project once it arrives).

Turnaround

Simple Combined Continuity Scripts (without spotting)

We construct both simple and comprehensive CCSLs. Please contact us and we'd be happy to help you determine what you need.

A CCSL includes all the elements of a combined continuity script:
- each shot is numbered and given a time reference
- continuity is concisely described
- dialogue is word-accurate and includes ID
- main titles and supers are numbered in.

A comprehensive CCSL also includes:
- all titles are numbered
- all titles are edited to fit within common subtitling standards
