When transcribing from raw footage, we take unedited field tapes and transcribe useable dialogue. Transcripts can be delivered in the format of your choosing, including PilotWare-compatible text files.

Subtitling Services
Obviously, you primarily know us as the best little captioning house in the west, but do you realize we offer subtitling as well? We can handle any Tru-type font as subtitles and deliver the great quality you’ve come to expect of us. Recent language we’ve worked in include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, and Japanese.
While we’re known for our English & French work, if you’re providing an approved transcript in any language, we’ve got your subtitling needs covered. Also, when getting any of our other services done, we can offer quality subtitling service more affordably than other providers. in Captioning Services
We’re still delivering our top-notch work at great prices, but we’ve recognized that it’s not always needed — or financially feasible — to buy the kind of awesome work Line 21 is known for. The solution, we think, is in offering you a middle ground between pop-on positioned and rolling captions, and also in making available to you our most affordable captions ever.
The first of these two new services is “pop-on unpositioned” captions. These offer a dramatic savings thanks to taking a little of the nit-picky aesthetic work out of the equation, but you still get a double-proofing pass done by senior editors, ensuring our record for accuracy.
Because not all broadcasters, and certainly not the Internet, have the same requirements for captioning, sometimes “close enough” is “good enough.” We all love great quality, but it’s not always in the budget, so we’ve figured out how to offer transcription-included rolling captioning at a much lower rate: by removing our senior reviewer and extra viewing passes from the mix.
New Media
We now offer subtitling and captioning for your internet-or conference-broadcasting needs. Perhaps you have a backlog of programs you’d like to caption for the web, or a powerful presentation to make at a conference? Line 21 can help you get your message heard, and help it have a wider reach.
With shorter media formats on the web, there are creative ways to further keep your prices at a minimum. We’re happy to tell you those secrets if you talk to us before you start creating your media.
